Die Geschichte des Maifestes 2017 in Mieming beginnt früh am Morgen. Schlag 6 Uhr wird die Motorsäge auf Betriebstemperatur hochgefahren und wenige Minuten später fällt der 50 Jahre alte Maibaum aus dem Waldstück am Rinderhag in Barwies.
